Tom McNally works for an Engineering firm in Peoria, IL, and is a super fan when it comes to the Greyhound Scenicruiser. He is currently an owner of two Scenicruisers. Tom and his co-author have amassed a very large collection of photographs, time tables, post cards, antique toys and models. Fred Rayman is a retired bus driver, who lives in Oklahoma City, OK. He drove for Oklahoma Transportation Company and Jefferson lines for 38 + years. A Great Tribute To A Highway Legend

It takes someone who actually knows the subject first hand to create a book as good as this, and Tom McNally and Fred Rayman are intimately familiar with the legendary Greyhound Scenicruiser. This book is a fitting tribute to one of the finest, most recognized highway motor coaches to ever travel the roads of the U.S. and Canada. Profusely illustrated and laced with little-known facts and stories, it is a must-buy for transportation enthusiasts.

Exciting Memory Restoration

As a young teenager in the 1950's I was as thrilled to take my first Greyhound Scenicruiser trip as I would be thrilled by my first airplane trip some years later. Growing up in a family that valued travel as a vital educational experience all of my Greyhound bus travels in those early years commenced and ended in the Waco, Texas Greyhound Bus Station and Post House Cafeteria facility, which is pictured in this book. Trips from Waco to Dallas, Austin and San Antonio and return were my earliest excursions. Upon reaching the age of fourteen, I was fortunate to obtain my Texas Drivers License and I became quickly the Family driver. Thus ended my bus trips, but, I have carried those fond memories with me for all of my adult life. This book aids those fantastic memories!

Loaded with photos

Excellent exterior photos, a few of the interior, but none of the engine area or even one with the rear compartment open. It would have been nice to see some shop photos, or ones of the rebuild operations when the twin engines were replaced. Still a great book for the Scenicruiser enthusiast!.
