An Actual "Pocket" Book

An extremely helpful reference for most of the "bread and butter" Neurosurgery topics. For it's size, which is extremely convenient, it packs a ton of info. You can't really compete with the cost either! This book is great for anyone that will be spending any time studying Neurosurgery, especially for med students and lower level residents. Sure, it's not Greenberg....but this book actually fits in your pocket and omits lower yield topics within NS. The handiness of the size cannot be overemphasized...there have been quite a few times I've actually kept this book in my JEANS pocket if I was going to be able to fit in any extra study time (ex: on a plane, long car ride, etc). That is a long way from trying to cram a Greenberg in an even larger white coat pocket. Great concise review of NS with sound information/statistics, while providing a quick means of locating frequently referenced NS topics.

Neurosurgery Pocketbook

I was very surprised at how small this book truly is. Definitely is a pocket book. So far with my use it seems to cover common disorders seen in neurosurgery, though some of the less common I was not happen to find. Index is quickly accessible and pages are well laid out despite the small size of the book. Hard to common to the Greenberg text, but is way more portable for quick reference.
